PROJECT BRIEF:
Canton Schools brand has a rich and long history, but its visual identity system was scattered across multiple versions of several appropriated logos and themes. It also lacked any unique qualities or connection to the community or school. As a result, their visual identity was incoherent and random.
We started with an audit of their brand in order to discover the unique DNA of Canton’s particular identity. This entailed a deep dive into the history of the community to find a unique narrative to ground their identity. We then expanded the narrative into several brand marks that were visually consistent, connecting the chapters of their brand narrative. The end result is a versatile and cohesive identity system that embodies the unique history of the Canton brand narrative in a contemporary sports identity system.
